The World Records Authority is proud to officially announce and validate the unprecedented achievement of the people of Vic, Catalonia. In a spectacular display of unity, energy, and shared spirit, a staggering 5,771 participants gathered to create the world’s largest lip dub performance.
Set in the winding streets of the old town Vic, this massive event was organised in support of Catalan independence. People of all ages danced and hopped to the rhythmic anthem “La Flama” by the renowned Valencian band Obrint Pas, creating a historical moment of peaceful assembly and collective celebration of Catalan language and culture.
This official WRA Certificate of Record recognises the incredible dedication, linguistic pride, and peaceful, cohesive desire of the people of Vic to keep their traditions alive. The World Records Authority is committed to documenting the official authority of achievements around the globe.
