Longest Continuous 5-A-Side Football Game — Chestnut Grove Academy
The World Records Authority is proud to officially recognise a monumental achievement in sports endurance. Led by Theo Strong, a dedicated squad of 16 players from Chestnut Grove Academy in South London came together to push the boundaries of human stamina for a greater cause.
These extraordinary individuals successfully set the record for the Longest Continuous 5-A-Side Football Game, playing non-stop from October 26th to 29th, 2016, for a total of 70 hours and 1 minute. By surpassing the previous record, they raised over £13,000 for the inspiring charity, Football Beyond Borders (FBB).
Every hour of this remarkable feat was meticulously logged and verified by official witnesses and referees, upholding the highest standards of the WRA.
This unparalleled display of resilience and collective spirit proves that football transcends sport. The World Records Authority proudly certifies this achievement as an official world record.
