Highest Waterfall Descent by Kayak
Back to Records
Tumbling over the crest of Palouse Falls, Tyler Bradt embodied the spirit of human ambition, defying gravity and logic to set a new world record. This breathtaking moment, immortalised in 2009, stands as a testament to the pursuit of excellence that the World Records Authority celebrates.
WRA is honoured to officially recognise Tyler Bradt’s remarkable feat: the Highest Waterfall Descent by Kayak — a monumental drop of 186 feet over the majestic Palouse Falls in eastern Washington. Completed in mere seconds with acceleration to 100mph, this extraordinary descent required unwavering focus, meticulous preparation, and a healthy dose of audacity.
WRA is proud to honour Tyler Bradt for this monumental achievement and for raising awareness of water safety through his extraordinary paddleboard journey along the Florida coast.
