Highest Contemporary Art Gallery
Miguel Doura has achieved the world record for the Highest Contemporary Art Gallery, situating “The Nautilus” at the Aconcagua Base Camp in Argentina — 4,300 metres above sea level. This extraordinary feat is a testament to both extraordinary human achievement and artistic passion in the most extreme of environments. Where most would see only altitude and endurance, Doura saw an opportunity to bring contemporary art to the roof of the Americas, transforming a remote mountain base camp into a gallery space unlike any other on Earth. The Nautilus stands as a powerful symbol of art’s ability to transcend boundaries, altitude, and expectation.
