Highest Bar Jump Cleared by a Llama
The World Records Authority is proud to officially recognise Caspa as the record holder for the Highest Bar Jump Cleared by a Llama. Owned by Sue Williams of the United Kingdom, Caspa achieved this extraordinary feat at Dogfest, Arley Hall, Cheshire on 14 June 2015, clearing a bar set at 1.13 m (3 ft 8.5 in) — a height that redefined what is possible in trained animal performance.
Llamas are not traditionally regarded as jumping animals, making Caspa’s achievement all the more remarkable. Through Sue Williams’ patient and expert training, Caspa demonstrated an athleticism and willingness that captured the imagination of spectators and experts alike. The record stands as a testament to the remarkable bond that can be forged between human and animal through perseverance and positive reinforcement.
The WRA congratulates Sue Williams and Caspa on this officially validated milestone, a record that continues to inspire animal trainers and enthusiasts around the world.
