Under a sea of UV lights on a hockey pitch at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, 260 people came together for something unlike any fitness class the world had seen before. Greenwich Leisure Ltd (GLL) turned an ordinary evening into a record-breaking celebration of health, community, and movement — hosting the world’s Largest Clubbercise® Class ever officially verified.

Clubbercise is a unique fitness format that fuses the energy of a nightclub with the benefits of a group exercise class — glow sticks in hand, UV lights blazing, pulsing beats driving participants through a high-energy choreographed workout. GLL’s record attempt took that electric atmosphere and supercharged it, filling the pitch with 260 enthusiastic participants ready to dance, sweat, and make history.

Led by three qualified Clubbercise instructors, the class was officially verified by a WRA adjudicator on site. Every participant was counted, every standard met, and the result was formally certified: 260 people, one hockey pitch, and a new global benchmark. The event promoted health and community through dance and fitness in the most spectacular fashion, setting a new standard for what a supersize fitness lesson can look like.
