This record has been verified and authenticated as a global benchmark
On 14 November 2022 β Children’s Day in India β the city of Jaipur became the location of a landmark achievement in child welfare and education. The Confederation of Indian Industry Young Indians (CII Yi) organised the world’s largest child safeguarding lesson, bringing together an extraordinary 6,915 participants in a powerful demonstration of collective commitment to the safety and well-being of children. The lesson, aimed primarily at children between the ages of 6 and 16, formed a pivotal milestone within CII Yi’s nationwide “Largest Child Safety Workshop” mission.
The event equipped thousands of young participants with vital knowledge and practical tools to help them navigate the world safely and confidently. Topics covered the full spectrum of personal safety β from recognising unsafe situations to understanding how to seek help from trusted adults. By delivering these lessons on such a monumental scale, CII Young Indians sent a powerful message to the nation: that every child deserves to grow up informed, empowered, and protected.
World Records Authority is proud to officially recognise the Confederation of Indian Industry Young Indians for this extraordinary and socially impactful achievement. This record is far more than a number β it represents thousands of children given the tools to protect themselves, thousands of families reassured, and a nation united in its commitment to the safety of its youngest and most precious members.
