Sisters Shaily and Nancy Rudra Bhowmik from Ghaziabad, U.P. made history in 2025 by setting the World Record for the Highest Altitude 110cc Scooty Expedition. Riding a Honda Activa 6G, they completed a remarkable 2,100 km self-driven journey through the treacherous passes of the Himalayas over 11 extraordinary days — conquering some of the world’s most formidable mountain roads to reach Taglangla in Leh, India.

Their epic route traversed Panipat, Ambala, Mandi, Manali, Jispa, Baralacha La, Lachung La, Gata Loops, Pang, and Tanglang La — terrain that challenges even the most experienced riders on heavyweight motorcycles. The sisters undertook this extraordinary expedition to inspire Indian women to travel boldly, conquer extreme terrains, and break stereotypes.
