The World Records Authority is proud to officially announce the validation of the record for the Latest Sequentially Firing Muzzle-Load Arms, achieved by Òmnium Cultural & Partners at the Holy Sanctuary of La Gleva, Les Masies de Voltregà, Catalunya on 4 February 2012.

This momentous achievement exemplifies historical dedication and organisational excellence under the most challenging conditions. A total of 210 shots were fired sequentially, despite extreme temperatures of -12°C, demonstrating extraordinary commitment and precision.

The event commemorated the 120 martyrs of La Gleva (1714) — a deeply historic act of remembrance carried out with remarkable discipline and cultural pride. WRA extends its gratitude to Òmnium Cultural and all partners for making this historic day possible.
