Texas Longhorns are already celebrated for their iconic horns, but Poncho Via’s spread represents a once-in-a-generation extreme of natural growth. Raised with exceptional care by the Pope family of Alabama, Poncho’s horns continued to grow throughout his life, eventually reaching a measurement that surpassed all previously documented records for any steer, living or historical.
