Most Gurudwaras Visited on a Self-Driven Spiritual Journey
Driven by a profound commitment to promote Sikh heritage and meditation on spiritual truths, Siddharth Ashok Rampal from India organised and executed the “Gurudwara Darshan with Siddhu Paji” expedition — one of the most remarkable acts of devotion in modern times. Beginning his journey on 10th May 2024 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, behind the wheel of his Renault Triber 1000cc car, he traversed 11 Indian states over just over a year. By the conclusion of his historic undertaking in Bihar on 14th May 2025, he had visited an extraordinary 700 Sikh Gurudwaras and covered a distance of 30,000 kilometres.
Mr. Rampal’s extraordinary undertaking is a powerful demonstration of faith, resilience, and a deep-seated dedication to community service and the preservation of Sikh spiritual traditions. His mission to inspire particularly today’s youth with the richness of Gurudwara culture and the teachings of the Gurus has resonated far beyond the roads he travelled. The World Records Authority is pleased to formally recognise this exceptional feat and welcomes Siddharth Ashok Rampal’s name to the WRA global archives.
