World Records Authority officially recognises Schuh Marke (Germany) for achieving the world record for the Largest Hiking Boot. This colossal tribute to craftsmanship was presented in Hauenstein, Germany, on 30 September 2006 — a monumental feat validated and entered into the WRA database. The record-breaking boot measured an astounding 7.14m (23ft 5in) in length, 2.50m (8ft 2in) in width, and 4.2m (13ft 9in) in height.

Hauenstein is a town with a proud heritage in the shoe and footwear industry, and Schuh Marke’s creation is a fitting monument to that tradition.
