Largest Hiking Boot โ Schuh Marke (Germany)
World Records Authority officially recognises Schuh Marke (Germany) for achieving the world record for the Largest Hiking Boot. This colossal tribute to craftsmanship was presented in Hauenstein, Germany, on 30 September 2006 โ a monumental feat validated and entered into the WRA database. The record-breaking boot measured an astounding 7.14m (23ft 5in) in length, 2.50m (8ft 2in) in width, and 4.2m (13ft 9in) in height.
Hauenstein is a town with a proud heritage in the shoe and footwear industry, and Schuh Marke’s creation is a fitting monument to that tradition. To construct a hiking boot of this scale while maintaining the authentic proportions, detailing, and structural integrity of a real hiking boot required exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous planning โ skills that define the very best of German manufacturing tradition.
The boot towers at over four metres tall โ taller than most single-storey buildings โ and stretches over seven metres in length, making it impossible to miss and unforgettable to behold. Every lace eyelet, sole groove, and stitching detail has been faithfully reproduced at this extraordinary scale, demonstrating the precision and passion that went into its creation.
World Records Authority is proud to document this monumental feat, celebrating Schuh Marke’s achievement as a landmark entry in the global archives of creative and manufacturing excellence.
