26 L-Sit Chin-Ups from a Helicopter in One Minute — Alejandro Soler Tari
In one of the most breathtaking demonstrations of athletic power ever recorded, Spain’s Alejandro Soler Tari officially claimed the World Record for the Most L-Sit Chin-Ups from a Helicopter in One Minute, completing an extraordinary 26 flawless repetitions on 19 November 2023 in Miami, Florida.
Suspended directly from the helicopter’s landing skids — battling powerful rotor wash and the unrelenting instability of live flight — Alejandro executed each repetition with surgical grip strength and exceptional midline control. An L-sit chin-up demands that the athlete hold the bar in a supine position while maintaining a ninety-degree body angle throughout, pulling until the chin clears the bar before returning to full arm extension. Performing this on a moving aircraft elevated the difficulty to an entirely different level.
After months of rigorous preparation, Alejandro travelled to Miami and surpassed the minimum threshold of 10 repetitions more than twofold, etching his name into the record books with composure and precision.
The World Records Authority proudly celebrates Alejandro’s remarkable achievement — a testament to the extraordinary limits of human strength, determination, and physical performance.
