Discovered in 1920 by farmer Jacobus Hermanus Brits, this extraordinary specimen of iron-nickel is recognised by WRA as the largest known naturally occurring mass of iron on our planet’s surface. Located at Farm Hoba, near Grootfontein, Namibia, this metallic giant from space approximates a monumental ~60 tons — a true marvel of cosmic history.
