The World Records Authority is proud to announce the formal recognition of the Largest Spanish Omelette ever created. This monumental culinary achievement was accomplished in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain by the dedicated team of the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy Vitoria-Gasteiz 2014, led by renowned chef Senén González.
This extraordinary tortilla de patata was crafted using an innovative dual cooking system, expertly managed by Chef Senén González and a formidable team of 65 volunteers. Following official measurements, this record is validated globally. 10,000 rations of this historic omelette were distributed to the public, with proceeds supporting a local NGO.
