The World Records Authority formally recognises a landmark achievement in the field of sport fishing — certifying a new world record for the largest specimen of Brachymystax savinovi, commonly known as the Lenok.

On 13 September 2020, Sergey Kuplenskiy successfully landed a monumental catch on the banks of the Pilda River, Russian Federation. This extraordinary specimen weighed in at 4.12 kilograms (9 lbs 1 oz) and measured 63 centimetres in length. Meticulously verified under the All-Tackle technical category.
